SPECIFICALLY: 123 E. Doty Street, Madison WI 53703

We all know that Law students are smarter than the Med students! Or is it the other way around...? Time to find out on September 3. Cooper's Tavern recently doubled its size and now boasts a private, brand-spankin-new top floor, complete with its own kitchen, full-service bar, high-end A/V equipment, and views of the Capitol. Enjoy an exclusive night of mind-bleeding trivia at one of Madison's favorite bars. Space is limited, so be sure to arrive promptly at 7pm!
WHERE: 20 w. Mifflin Street, Upper Level
Chess and Euchre will take place indoors from 7 until 8:30pm on Sept 9, but everyone is invited to join the players down at Der Rathskeller for a sunset at the Terrace.

Instead of interviews like the Med school, the Law School traditionally admits new students after a satisfactory demonstration of a Badger touch-down dance. Don't know how? Come to the Flag Football from 5-7pm on Friday, Sept 6 and we will teach you how to Bucky

WHERE: University Bay Fields

The med school has its own band - cleverly dubbed The Arrhythmia's - and on September 13 they will be rocking out on the Terrace from 5pm onwards. Please note that in the event of rain, sleet, ice, or 'nado, the show WILL continue inside Der Rathskeller. Ladies and gentlemen, there is NO competition on this date - this is simply a social hour. Grab a drink, eat some snacks, and enjoy the music with your teammates and rivals!

Ah, dodgeball. The sport that haunts the past of those pursuing law and medical degrees. Free yourself from the years of dread stemming from this pastime; take out your angst and use Tomorrow's Doctors or Lawyers for target practice. Follow up with a friendly game of Tug-o-War, to mend the dichotomy.

For those brave souls out there who enjoy movement beyond flipping pages of a textbook, there is a 5k run/walk along the lakeshore path on September 14. Arrive early - the gun goes off at 9am!

ACE! Flail and stumble in the sand while bruising your limp wrists! No better way to spend a Saturday afternoon . See you in the Cole Volleyball Courts at 2pm, September 14.

What's more typical than a golf outting for some soon-to-be docs and attorneys? Golfers may decide the location and time of tee-off - stay tuned for an update! The event will take place on September 15, so mark your calendars!

Whaddup, ballas? Be like Mike on September 15 at the SERF from 4-7pm! Scope out some team mates or come solo and we'll find some for you.

Aye Luigi! Rev up those engines and play some old-school Mario Kart at the HLSC break room in the Med school on September 17. There will also be some ultra-competetive ping pong, so flex those wrists and get ready to pull a Forrest Gump. Events begin at 6:30pm.

Ahh... now is where the fun begins. To boost your school's oomph in the Cup, give us your bloooood. Each pint will be allocated points and the school with the most blood wins the individual event. Not morbid at all. Not human sacrifices please, and no plembotomist tricks will be tolerated (lookin at you, Meds).  Donation begins at 11pm and runs until 4pm in the HSLC Atrium on September 20th. Note: Law students may also donate on this date and your donation will be counted for the law school (Law has its own blood drive on 9-23)

It's not lame, I promise. Clues will be dished out at the law school on September 20th at 3pm. Scavengers will have 2.5 hours to traverse State Street and end at the Capitol. Whoever crosses off the most items from their list by 5:30pm will be deemed the winner. Points will also be allocated for participation and special prizes will be awarded! See you at the Bascom Hill entrance of the Law School!

One of America's dearest charities is having a run/walk on Sunday, September 22. Dean's Cup is sponsoring this event and points will be given for every volunteer who helps set up. Yep, you don't even need to run or walk!. A shuttle will bring students to the Alliant Energy Center at approximately 6am. Let your heart grow 10 times big and help grant some wishes!

Yummmm... everyone's favorite event. Pre-heat that oven and watch an episode of Barefoot Contessa, because baby it's time to BAKE. Whip up some brownies, cookies, cakes, or whatever else your heart desires ...as long as it is something our stomachs will desire, too! All items are due in the law school Atrium by 6pm on September 22. The judges will begin tasting soon thereafter - all you non-bakers would be wise to come by for leftovers!

Now it's the law school's turn to exsanguinate for the love of the game. The Red Cross is sending their troops into the EDUCATION BUILDING at 10am and will be suckin' blood until dusk. Med students are still encouraged to donate at this date, too - your donation will count towards your school's participation. See you on September 23! If you're lucky, there will still be left-overs from the bake-off the night before........

Special appearances by Federer, Nadal, and some Williams chick. Throw on your tennis whites and head over to the Nielsen tennis courts for a round robin. See you on September 25 ... time is still TBD.

YUP you read that right! Pour some Pimms in your cup and hike up those knickerbockers. It's time to play some croquet. Absolutely no skill or English accents are required. This is the first year Dean's Cup will dabble in this lawn sport and we hope it'll really tickle your fancy. See you at James Madison Park on September 28 at noon for a jolly good time. Toodle pip!

You're probably all like, wtf where is softball!? It's a hard life, I know. But hey, who doesn't love WIFFLE BALL? It requires no skill and even the sporty are soon humbled. The game is action-packed and largely circles around clever games of Pickle. So relive your youth and give it a try! October 3 in the Nat Fields, time still TBD!!

THE FINAL GAME. It all comes down to this. Take a deep breath, do some stretches, and be the fris. October 4th in Brittingham Park. at 4pm!

Self-explanatory. Kick a ball in a net, yadda yadda. Bend it like that one guy, David something. See you at the University Bay Fields on September 22 from 1-2:30pm! Watch out for red cards, utilize your thick skulls, and pretend to get hurt every 5 minutes!

DEAN'S

CUP

BASH

We made it! Dean's Cup is DONE, the competition is OVER, the schools have an awkward sense of resentment, and now it is time to let loose! This year's BASH is on OCTOBER 11 at the MEMORIAL UNION GREAT HALL from 8pm onwards. Put your cleats back on the rack and grab your dancing shoes, because we'll be cutting the rug all night. Food and drinks will be provided and tickets will go on sale weeks in advance. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS CAPSTONE! It will be a night to remember! Or a night that you can't remember... See you then!
